Physical Description
it is fully rounded in the middle tapering to a paddle shaped tail; grey in color with small colorless hair.
It has no hind legs.

Habitat – along the coasts and inland water such as rivers, lakes, coastal estuaries, lagoons, and shallow bays
Diet – sea grasses and also clams, mollusks and fish
Status – endangered; numbers are slowly and drastically declining.
Reason for the status – Hunting and Illegal Poaching
Gestation Period – 13 months
Lifespan – 50- 60 years in the wild and captivity.
