Dorsal Fin Height –  The dorsal fin stands tall compared to the size of the body curved towards the back.
It is usually seen at the same time as when it comes up for air
Fluke: It doesn’t show its fluke usually when it dives in after coming up for air
Range :Â Â Off the coast of Brazil, South Africa, and Peru
Habitat:Â Polar to tropical regions
Diet. : They feed mainly on krill
Status:Â 60 percent of the population has reduced from 1978 – 2004 and even at the present
Reason for status: Commercial whaling and habitat loss
Gestation:Â 10 months
Longevity:Â 73 years in the wild
