Fluke: 10 15 feet wide
Range: Arctic, Atlantic , Pacific Ocean, Antarctica as well as waters of the Bering Sea
Habitat: Polar to tropical Waters,
Diet. : Tiny crustaceans, krill, plankton, and small fish (mackerel and capelin)
Status: Endangered. There used to be 60,000 killed in Southern Hemisphere 1910 to 1916 , Now there is only 1,000 to 3,000 remaining in the wild
Reason for status: Habitat destruction, hunting, and whaling
Gestation: 11-12 months
Longevity: 45-50 years
