GAZELLE

 

 

  • Gazelles are very similar in shape.

  • They have ring shaped horn.

  • The diversity of  horn shapes across species is thought to reflect different in fighting styles.

  • When they fight,  the horns lock during combat for protection.

  • Gazelles are generally pale fawn above and wide beneath.

  • They live in more open habitat than dwarf antelope.

  • They have white buttocks with at least some black on the tip of the tail, and dark bands that are more or less distinct.

  • Their habits are jumping repeatly with their legs straight and ridge and landing on all four limbs together

  • They have a good sense of sight and hearing are very good in gazelles.
