Salts Dik Dik
Physical description
· The dik dik has a variable thick goat.
· The back is grey and flanks are variable grey to reddish legs.
· Their forehead is bright reddish and white rings around the eyes.
· There nose is slightly elongated.

Horn length: 4 9 cm (about 2- 4 in)
Tail length: 3.5 4.5 cm (1.5 2.2 in)
Shoulder height: 34.5 40.5 cm ( 15 -18 in )
Weight: 3 4 kg ( 6 8 lb )
Range: Northeastern Africa
Habitat: dry regions with thick vegetation
Diet: leaves of scrub bushes, buds, plants, fruits and herbs
Status: in some areas they are declining
Reason for the status: hunting and habitat destruction
Gestation period: six months
Longevity : 3 4 years in wild / 10 years in captivity
