DEER (CERVIDAE)
In many ways deer resembles antelopes in structure.
They have spectacular antlers.
Antlers which are made up of bones and shed once in a year.
Antlers from small to enormous size.
Horns do not grow back, but antlers do.
Deers mainly go far easily digested such as shoots, young leaves, and fruits.
They live in small family group to avoid predation.
The family Cervidae contains deer and their allies includes caribou, moose and elk.
