  • Crocodilian is a family of Crocodile, Alligator, Caiman, and Gharial.

  • Even though a False Gharials snout looks like a Gharial it really belongs to the crocodile family.

  • The largest species is Saltwater Crocodile.

  • The smallest crocodilians is the Cuvier”s Dwarf Caiman.

  • The difference between crocodile, alligator, caiman and gharial is their snout.

  • Crocodiles have a semi erect posture.

  • They can walk slowly and move their legs .

  • Crocodile prefer saltwater.

  • Crocodiles have long and narrow snout, but alligators have u shaped wider snout.
