§ Colobus monkeys are medium-sized, arboreal monkeys with slender bodies and long tails.

§ Angolan colobus monkeys have long, silky hair.

§ They have long-haired white epaulettes on the shoulders and the lower half of the tail is white

Range : Equatorial Forest
Habitat : Forests, woodlands, wooded grasslands and rainforest.
Diet : Stems , bark, flowers, buds, fruits, shoots, aquatic plants, and insects.
Status : Populations are rapidly declining in some areas such as as the Kakamega Forest in Kenya
Reason for the status : Habitat Destruction and hunting for bush meat and skins
Gestation Period : 147 – 178 days
Lifespan : 20 years in wild / 30 years in captivity
