  • Rodents are mammals that continually chew food using incisors in the upper and lower jaws.

  •  Forty percents of mammal species are rodents.

  • They are found in all Continents except Antarctica.

  • The common rodents are mice, rats, squirrels, Beavers Gerbils, Capybaras, Prairie dogs Porcupine, Chipmunk, Guinea pigs and voles.

  •  Rodents make up the largest order of mammals.

  • The ancestors of rodents are from 65 million years ago.

  • They have suppose to suppose to appear during Cretaceous period.

  • There are 2,010 species of Rodents
