PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

This type of duiker species has an orange-red coat which is lighter on the ventral side.
-
They have a dark grey-black stripe along their dorsal along the middle line, which extends from the tail to the shoulders and across the face onto the arms.

The lower legs are also dark grey-black in color.

Red-flanked duikers have the largest preorbital glands of all duiker species

 RANGE:  Senegal to southwestern Sudan and from northeastern Uganda south to Cameroon and northern Zaire.

HABITAT: Forest, Savannas and can also be found in areas with adequately dense cover, such as drainages with elephant grass or thick shrubbery.
