KIWI

Kiwi is a ratite.

They are flightless birds, and they live in New Zealand.

They are the smallest living ratite and lay the largest living egg in relation to their body size of any bird in the world.

 There are five species of kiwi.

They are great spotted kiwi, little spotted kiwi, Southern Brown Kiwi, Northern Island Kiwi, and Okovito Brown Kiwi. 

Kiwi is the smallest ratite.

They have hair-like feathers and whiskers of kiwis are mostly grayish- brown in color.

These birds have no breastbone and tail.

Female kiwis are larger than males.

They have external nostrils at the end of their bill and most of them have great sense of smell.

Their legs are very strong and are used for burrowing.
