Physical Description
Both male and female Indian Rhino have one dark horn on their nose.
Their skin has many loose folds.
Especially distinct around the neck region, In males that gives the appearance of a suit of armor.
The skin is covered with large lumps

Range : Northern Pakistan, India, Nepal , Bangladesh and Assam
Habitat : Next to the swamp and forest
Diet : Grass, fruit, leaves, branches and aquatic plants.
Status : There is only 1700 left in the wild
Reason for the status : Habitat Destruction , and overhunting by humans
Gestation Period – 479 days
Lifespan – 30 -45 years in the wild / 47 years in captivity
