Lesser Apes ( Hylobadtidae)

These are smaller compared to greater apes such as Gorilla, Orangutan and Chimpanzee.

 Siamangs and Gibbons belong to this category. Lesser apes do not

build nests but the greater apes do. Lesser apes resemble monkeys more closely.
