RANGE : South of Sahara to Northern South Africa                                Â
HABITAT: Open woodlands near rivers, lakes and swamps
 FOOD: grasses
STATUS : Not threatened but population is decreasing
REASON FOR STATUS : Habitat destruction due to human activities
