Their colors vary depending upon the region of the Philippines that they inhabit.

Tail Length : 135- 275mm
Range – Rainforest of Philippines, Samar, Leyte, Bohol and Mindanao
Habitat – They live in  tall grasses, bushes, bamboo shoots, and small trees in tropical rainforests.
Diet –Â insects, lizards, spiders, and small vertebrates such as birds
What type of animal : Omnivore
Status – There is only 1,000 left in the wild cohrol town in Bohol
Reason for the status – Habitat loss and Pet Trade
Gestation Period – 6 months
Lifespan – 24 in the wild / 13 – 14 years in captivity
