Weight : 20-27 kg ( 44 -60kg )
Range : Argentina, brazil, Bolivia , Paraguay and Uruguay
Habitat: Pampas Campos Woodlands of South America
Diet. : broad leaved plants and clover
Status: This rhea population is decreasing. Countries of Uruguay and Argentina have been seriously affected.
Reason for status: Due to increased hunting
Incubation period : 29 – 43 days
Longevity: 20 years in the wild / 40 years in captivity.
