Description
The bobcat is a medium-sized cat with a short, broad face with fur extending from the ear down to the lower jaw.
The prominent pointed ears have short ear tufts at their tips.
 The backs of the ears are blackish with a central white spot.
 The fur is brownish to pale yellowish interspersed with gray.
The chin and belly are whitish with dark spots.
The short tail has a tip that is black only on the top.

RANGE
The bobcats are found from Canada through the United States, South to Mexico, and Yucatan Peninsula Forests.
Habitat
They live in Brush and grasslands in damp and dry regions.
Diet
They eat birds, hares, wild rabbits, other mammals up to size, and deer.
Status
In 1950 there were up to 600 bobcats in Canada, Now there are only 500 remaining in the wild.
Reason for the status
They are endangered because people are destroying its habitat by polluting, logging and hunting.
